WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN EXPECTING (YOUR DELIVERY)!
OK! Great ~ You’ve made your order, now what?
You’ve selected a time frame and date for the delivery driver to arrive in the delivery slot 9am – 2am. The delivery driver can stop by anytime in between the beginning and end of the time slot, but if you would like to be notified when we are on our way (about 15 to 30 minutes away) then just say so in the comments.
Please be aware, while our delivery drivers strive to be on time 100% of the time, traffic is out of the driver’s control. In the off chance that the driver is running behind, he or she will try to call you as soon as they know there may be a problem. Please keep your phones available during that time.
Once the delivery driver arrives, he or she can bring your groceries into your kitchen for you, or if you prefer they can leave the groceries with you at the front door.
For your first delivery, if you paid by credit card, the delivery driver will ask to see one piece of photo ID. He or she will record that number so that you will not have to produce this document in the future again. Alternatively, if you are getting these groceries delivered to someone as a gift then email us a photocopy of your ID at email@example.com.
After The Delivery
Once the delivery driver has done their part, they will ask you for your signature. Once you’ve signed off on the order, the driver will vanish into thin air, leaving you and your groceries some time to get acquainted.
If you notice that the delivery driver happened to miss an item in your order, email or call the office as soon as you notice, and we will get you the item as soon as we can. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can refund you for that missing item. Don’t worry – this does not happen often!
Also, if there is an item that you are not satisfied with, kindly email or call the office as well within 7 days, and we will pick it up at our next convenient time, and refund or replace the item, depending on your request.
Our delivery drivers always enjoy tips, however, tipping is not required for this service, so there is no need to feel any obligations to tip the driver.
